Hello!
Every preschool class should have access to all the learning centers, for students to develop many key areas regarding their cognitive and motor skills. Nevertheless, there are certain limitations when it comes to space or resources in most of the schools.
Your objective in this entry is to think about your own classroom. There is not enough space for you to set all the seven learning centers. Meaning you must choose only four of them that you consider to be the most relevant for children development.
Explain in two lines the reason for each learning center you decide to have in your class. (eight lines for all the comment)
Remember that opinions can not be exactly the same.
I cosidered that most relevant corner for me are:1. Art or creating center:i think is very important because many children dicover their abilities and also they can create many amazing thing that can be useful in the future 2. Writing center: this center is important because the children learn to read and write because they will create amazing surfing and they Will learn how to express their ideas and thinking 3. Science cente: other important corner because children discover interesting step by star. 4. Dramatic play center: the children can enjoy many things like experiment how is an adult or be architec and can make a role play simulating be another person

ResponderBorrar1. Art Center because it enables children to express what they are thinking and feeling. It also helps children increase their creativity, use their imagination and have original thoughts.
2. Block Center: it helps reinforce many important concepts they have been learning such as measurement, length, estimation; they will do it in a way they will enjoy it.
3. Music Center: children should be exposed to music it helps them develop many other areas and I think that it is easier for children to learn through music.
4. Dramatic play center: it facilitates the oral language when they do a role play and it might also help the child become self-confident, besides it helps the child interact with others.
I agree with you and I have not thought about music! that is true music helps children to learn :)

Library: Is a resource that the child reads and manipulates hands illustrations of a book, so it can create its own history and to share with colleagues and giving demonstrate some of the motor skills that have. Writing center: For me, it is essential for children to develop motor skills "fine motor" developing a meaningful learning area. Here also is another very important and essential factor the reading. Table toys: In this area of learning gives the child the opportunity to learn to playing, the child can manipulate and develop coordination skills of your hands - eyes, and fine motor.

In my kinder garden I will have a Block center because they can improve their motor skills both fine and gross by building structures this also helps kids to understand many math concepts such as size , shapes pattern and also develops thinking skills. I will also include an art center because kids can agin self-confidence , feel pride on themselves when participating in art contest also they can express a lot of feelings through pictures and colors . Also a music center is essential for me and learning through songs is easier and funny for the kids they can learn different concepts from different subjects and memorizing a lyric is a very good practice and sand and water table because the kids explore their coordination and improve the fine motor skills they can also play and share also interacting in this center can reduce the energy level in overexcited children

-Science center: in this center they explore and discover the real world where we live and how our world works, also they become aware of nature.
-Writing center: in my opinion this center is great; they practice writing their names, writing short presentation and show them to their classmates. In addition since it is writing it includes reading and all four language models.
-Dramatic play center: in this center children become someone else allowing them practice language openly, they use imagination and develop their thinking skills.

ResponderBorrar1. The Block Learning Center: would help the kids with the mathematical concepts and this center would provide an ideal tool for integrating other areas such as science, social studies, literacy and mathematical.
2. The Art Learning Center: At this Center the children provides them a way to express thru art what they are thinking, it helps children to build children's self confidence.
3. The Writing Learning Center: Reading and writing are important components to language development, and this is crucial for their way of expressing their self's.
4. The Music Learning Center: Singing songs, sounds and rhythms it is beautiful, I think that it will help the children to discover their ability to perform an instrument and who knows, he or she could become a famous artist one day.

If I have to choose only four learning centers I choose:

2) Dramatic play center:The children reenact a story, role play in the house corner, they engage en many different cognitive activities.
3) Writing center: Children learn write their names, read labels, manipulate the day, month and date on the calendar.
4) Music center: in this center childrens lear new songs, saunds and differetns rhythms of each song. The children use diferents intrumenst when sing and learn the correct use of different instrument.
I think, the most important learning centers for me are:

2. Libracy:It helps children take the initiative to start reading, finding a great motivation. This motivation is found in different children's stories.
3. Art or Creating Center: It stimulates creativity of children leaving in total freedom which it is the use of each material found in this area. For example: different kinds of paper, colors, etc.
4. Writing Center:Like the libracy, it serves to motivation too, because the children will have the ability to develop different motor skills and write several things. For example: their names, short sentences, etc.

A learning center is a space set aside in the classroom that allows easy access to a variety of learning materials in an interesting and productive manner. I would choose
ResponderBorrar1. Art or creating center: In this area children have different activities or oppotunities to know, share and experiment many works and ideas with the body helping you through educational materials and thus giving one confidence in the environment where it relates.
2.Dramatic play center: Children have opportunities to talk with others children thus generating a good language learning and in turn giving a clear language.
3. Writing center: In this center they have responsabilities how can reading and writing at the same time between activities and daily routine.
4. Science center: They can have an interest firstly observing and looking what things and imagenes have the classroom, then have curiosity to learning more about that.
Table toys:that area is very important for children because here they can develop many motor skills and it's one of the areas that most enjoy because they learn playing.

Dramatic play center: here children devolop many things as devolop speech and learn to express and the most important they have the opportunity to devolop their imagination through this center.
In my personal opinion I think all Learning Centers are very important to develop in children and themselves can discover their skills.

2.- LIBRARY, in this area the child know to way how words are writen and they can compare images and words, therefore they acquire new vocabulary.
3.- DRAMATIC PLAY CENTER, for me is importan that children express your own ideas, in this center children have this oportunity and also develop social relationship easily, team work and share real experiences with others.
4.- MUSIC CENTER, because music helps children to better concentration and atention and also helps develop the child´s expressive and psychomotor skills and they can do some activities and create different sounds, lyrics or rhythms.
I would choose these learning centers for my classroom:

2.Dramatic play center:Is a good technique for children to link up each other, they can express their feelings, they show that like to do or not like to do, we can know what role they enjoy doing and why?
3.Table toys:every Child enjoy moments playing but they can learn because they invent things with their toys using their imagination to the game to come more interesting.
4.Music center: Children develop their ability to listen also children enjoy listening music where they can do movements with their bodies and they are to come more competitive at the moment of identify sounds, so they pay attention and they enjoy imiting sounds.
If I worked in preschool, I would choose these centers:
ResponderBorrar*Block Center: children speak and learn the numbers. They can manipulate the objects with different size, shape, color and they look in their classroom the different figures in their space. For example the windows, what is the form of the windows?
*Art o Creating center: in this center children can create what they imagine. They can paint, cut. It fantastic that children things produce with their imagine.
*Dramatic play center: I like this center because children reenact a story o role play. They choose costumes and imagine that they are a Doctor o Fireman and they can speak with their classmates about their profession.
*Writing Center: For me this center it is important because children can write the name of the colors, days, months, also they can read the calendar and other words that they see in the classroom.

Well, talking about learning centers I think all of them are important because students learn in different ways. But if I had a preschool class I will used musical, block, art and drama center. Because I think students learn more by playing and acting than writing and that stuff... I think pre- school is not for writing exactly is to get into the language in a creative way.
